Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the fourth respondent in his proceedings in Letter No.K6/2016-1 dated 06.01.2016 and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary, violation of principles of law and further direct the respondents to extend the lease of fishery rights of Muthalnaickenpatti Tank situated in Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.332, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (FS-IV) Department dated 17.11.1993 within the stipulated period. This writ petition has been filed challenging the tender notification issued by the fourth respondent on the ground that the petitioner is entitled for extension of fishing rights.

2. The petitioner has no legal right to get his fishing rights extended. That part, the period for which extension was sought for has also

expired, nothing survives in this writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are dismissed.
