PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce body or person of the detenue, minor M.Gandhi Selvi, aged about 17 years daughter of Manivel from the illegal detention of the 3rd respondent and hand over her custody to the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor upon instructions would submit that the detenue Gandhi Selvi was secured and produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Palani and the same was intimated to the petitioner.
