ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the forthcoming Teachers General Transfer Counseling for the year 2019-2010, by considering the application preferred by the petitioner dated 31.10.2019, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3.According to the petitioner, he is working as a Head Master in Government High School, Savvaspuram from 20.06.2014 in Virudhunagar District. He had been completed five years of service in the said school and therefore, he is eligible to apply in the forthcoming teachers general transfer counselling for the year 20192010. As per G.O.1D.No.218, School Education Department, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.23566 of 2019 20.06.2019, issued by the School Education Department, he has to apply on or before 28.06.2019, but due to his health condition, he could not apply in time. The Government issued conditions for applying the present teachers transfer counselling, the same is applicable to the petitioner also. Therefore, the petitioner gave a representation dated 31.10.2019 to the respondents. However, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record carefully.
5. Now, the relief sought for in the Writ Petition is to permit him to participate in the forthcoming Teacher General Transfer Counselling for the year 2019-2020 and no counselling date is announced so far.
6.Considering the above facts, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.10.2019, on merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
