ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.7, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(C) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.1033 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons were found possession 1/3

of 128 kilograms of Ganja. Hence, the case.

3.On the ground that based upon the confession of the co-accused, this petitioner has been implicated, this petition has been filed. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that totally 7 accused persons in this case. They have purchased the Ganja from the State of Andhra Pradesh and used to sell the same in Tamil Nadu. The petitioner is having one previous case, similar in nature. The co-accused's anticipatory bail application was also dismissed by this Court on 22.02.2023.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
