O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 26.09.2022, which was filed against the second respondent order in Na.Ka.No.73/22, dated 24.03.2022 within a reasonable time.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has made an application to the second respondent on 02.11.2021, for cancellation of the gift deed ie., Doc. No.567/2003, dated 19.05.2002, registered at third respondent Sub Registrar Office. But the same was rejected by him through Na.Ka.No. 73/22, dated 24.03.2022. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent on 26.09.2022 and the same is still 2/5

pending. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the appeal filed by the petitioner will be disposed of within a period of twelve weeks.

4. Considering the above said submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 26.09.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing necessary opportunities, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
