Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is a retired Forest Guard. A sum of Rs.3,16,600/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Sixteen Thousand and Six Hundred only) was recovered from the writ petitioner's terminal benefits. The petitioner has given a representation for refund of the said amount. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the said representation and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of.
