ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to pass order on the petitioner's application to correct the mistake in the revenue record regarding the property in S.No.187/5 situated in Venneervaikal Village, Muthukulathur Taluk, Ramnad District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents produced the proceedings of the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram dated 08.07.2022.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition. Recording the above proceedings of the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram, this writ petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the District Revenue Officer, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
