O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal in Na.ka.A3/117/2015 dated 20.7.2017, within a period as stipulated by this Court and further direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to comply with the order passed by the District registrar, Sivagangai in Na.Ka.No. 2428/e1/2015 dated 24.3.2016 and to proceed further in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that one Kannappan sold the property to one Alagaramy in the year 1984. Alagarsamy has died leaving his wife Chandra and the said Chandra, during his life time, executed a Will dated 2/4

26.03.2010 bequeathing the property to the petitioner. However, after sale of such property, suppressing the said sale, the said Kannappan obtained a patta in his favour by fabricating a consent letter purported to be given by the petitioner's buyer Alagarsamy. Hence, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 31.12.2014 and the same is pending till date without disposal. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court for the above said relief.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 31.12.2014, and pass orders on the same in accordance with law, after giving notice to the other side, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
