The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to implement the recommendation of the second respondent in his letter Na.Ka.H2/3344/2020 dated 24.02.2022, by considering his representation dated 14.09.2022, within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 7.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider and dispose of his representation dated 14.09.2022, in the light of the letter dated 24.02.2022 in Na.Ka.H2/3344/2020 of the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.09.2022, in the light of the letter dated 24.02.2022 in Na.Ka.H2/3344/2020, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
