The petitioner with a grievance that his appeal filed before the first respondent/ the Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakottai has not been taken on file has approached this Court for a Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to conclude the same.

2.Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the official respondents submits that an enquiry is scheduled on 08.09.2023. However, the petitioner has not appeared for the enquiry and hence, it has been posted to 12.10.2023. 2/5

3.Considering the rival submissions made, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the first respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer on 12.10.2023 and the first respondent shall conclude the enquiry and pass orders within a period of six weeks from thereon. No costs.
