O R D E R

This petition is filed to direct the respondent police to to transfer the case in STC No.121 of 2019 from Fast Track Court No.2, Madurai , dt 4.10.2018 Fast Track Court, Alandur, Chennai to proceed the case by the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is suffering from Diabetic and as such his two legs were swelling, further he is taking injunction from the hospital on daily and as such he could not walk. Only he moved to hospital by using wheel-chair.

3. On perusal of the records, the petitioner is taking treatment. However, the transfer of trial cannot be granted on this ground. Considering the medical grounds, the personal appearance of the petitioner in STC No.121 of 2018 is dispensed with, except the dates on which, the trial Judge insisted the petitioner for his appearance. Since the case is of the year 2018, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial, within a period of Six Months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
