This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A3/623/2015 dated 03.03.2016, quash the same as illegal insofar as the respondents 5 to 7 are concerned and direct the official respondents to post the petitioner as Revenue Inspector in the light of Clause 9 of the Annexure IX r/w 38(b)(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rules.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the petitioner got promotion as Revenue Inspector and participated in the Training. 3/6
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also concedes the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
