.Heard Mr.A.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, his grandfather Krishnama Nayakar is the original owner of the land, measuring an extent of 1.71 acres, comprised in S.No.596, situated at Pillaiyarkulam Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District. The petitioner's grandfather had executed 36 cents out of the said 1.71 acres in favour of his grandmother Naranammal, vide registered sale deed, bearing Document No.2250/1961, dated 18.06.1961. After the demise of his grandmother Naranammal, the petitioner's father Rasu Nayakar inherited the property and enjoyed the same.
During the life time of the petitioner's father Rasu Nayakar, sub-division has been made in respect of 36 cents from S.Nos.596 to 596/2. After the demise of his father, the petitioner inherited the said property and the revenue records in respect of the said land has been mutated and Patta in respect of the said property has been changed in the petitioner's name, vide Patta No.67. However, the Patta stands in the name of Archunan Nayakar, S/o.Chinnasamy Nayakar instead of Archuna Nayakar, S/o.Rasu Nayakar. Therefore, the petitioner made an application to the respondent to rectify the said error in the petitioner's father's name.
.The respondent has conducted enquiry and passed an order dated 27.02.2021, to rectify the said entry, by deleting the earlier entry found. Though the order was made as early as on 27.02.2021, the rectification has not been carried out in the online entries of the respondent's Department. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing the present Writ Petition.
.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's request would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the respondent, within a time frame. 6.Considering the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to carry out necessary corrections in Patta No.67 and carry out the same in the online revenue records, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
.This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
