[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.] Since the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, vide Letter No.41530/U1/2017, dated 08.11.2017, had withdrawn the Circular No.67, dated 03.11.2011, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous. Further, the learned Senior Counsel submitted that liberty may be given to the petitioner to challenge the document in question before the competent civil Court in accordance with law.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the document in question before the competent civil Court in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
