JUDGMENT

The Criminal Appeal is directed against the judgment of conviction passed in Spl.S.C.No.15 of 2014, dated 15.11.2016 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Mahalir Neethimandram, Madurai District.

2.Today (i.e.30.03.2021), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed a memo along with the death certificate of the appellant and wherein, it is evident that the accused/appellant had died on 25.04.2020. The Memo is recorded.

3.In view of the above, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
