Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to regularize the petitioner's occupation in S.No.22/1, Chinnamaruluthu Village, Inamrediiapatti Post, Virudhunagar Taluk and Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District and take necessary steps to issue patta in view of the representation dated 20.06.2022 within the stipulated period.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to regularize her occupation in S.No.22/1 at Chinnamaruluthu Village, Inamrediiapatti Post, Virudhunagar Taluk and Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District and issue a patta by considering her representation dated 20.06.2022.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate, who appeared for the respondents 1 to 4 & 6 and the learned Government Advocate, who appeared for the 6th respondent. 2/5
3. It is the case of the petitioner that she has been in possession and enjoyment of the above-mentioned property for several years by constructing a house and residing therein. On the strength of her long possession, she submitted a representation before the second respondent on 20.06.2022 seeking issuance of a patta as per G.O.Ms.No.854. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, she filed the present writ petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate, who appeared for the respondents 1 to 4 and 6, would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered by the second respondent on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as interested parties, if any.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
