The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adal Padal scheduled to be held on 10.11.2022 at night in connection with Temple Festival in Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Temple at Allinagaram Village , Theni District by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2022 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the Respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents. 2/5

4.The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner would submit that as the aforesaid festival is celebrated in a peaceful manner by the villagers, there will be no untoward incident on account of this celebration. He would also submit that the Petitioner is the Member of the festival committee. 5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents, made objection to the conduct of the cultural program scheduled to be held on 10.11.2022 on the ground that the police are unable to provide security and protection, as there is a program as there is a program of the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 11.11.2022 in Dindigul District and the entire police force would be deputed to provide security to the said program.

6. Recording the objection made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. 03.11.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No aav 3/5
