Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to make entry of the Petitioner's name in the Revenue Patta and Adangal in S.F.No.169/12 at Patteeswaram village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the assignment patta issued in favour of the Petitioner in Na.Ka.No.2324/2001/A3, on the file of third respondent, issue copy to the Petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court, as per the representation of the Petitioner, dated 5.9.2022.

ORDER

The Petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to make entry of the Petitioner's name in the Revenue Patta and Adangal in S.F.No. 169/12 at Patteeswaram village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District, based on the assignment patta issued in favour of the Petitioner in Na.Ka.No.2324/2001/A3, on the file of third respondent, issue copy to the Petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court, as per the representation of the Petitioner, dated 5.9.2022. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.The case of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner has been assigned with land measuring an extent of 0.00.5 ares in S.F.No.169/12 as per the proceedings of the third respondent, dated 30.3.2001, as above mentioned and assignment patta was also issued to her in the year 2001 and his name also found reflected in Natham Adangal Register of the village.The petitioner has also constructed a house in that place. But the Petitioner's name was not carried out in the assignment patta. Now the

Petitioner has decided to renovate the house and in this regard, the Petitioner has submitted a representation on 26.8.2022 and 5.9.2022 and as the same was not considered so far, the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, produced a communication of the Tahsildar, Kumbakonam, dated 5.11.2022 and has stated that for the Petitioner's above said land, as per Patta No.1381, natham Chitta and Adangal was issued to her with Government Seal and she has also received the same on 12.11.2022.In view of the subsequent development, the prayer sought for by the Petitioner has become infructuous. 5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
