Respondent/Appellant/Accused PRAYER : This Criminal Appeal has been filed under Section 378 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the entire records pertaining to the judgment delivered by the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar, in C.A.No.15 of 2015 vide his judgment dated 28.01.2016 and set aside the same and consequently convict the respondent and sentence her by imposing a maximum punishment and by directing her to pay maximum compensation under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act.

The appellant has filed a memo stating that during the pendency of the appeal, the matter was settled between the parties and the appellant has paid a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards full and final settlement.
