ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Prayer in the Writ Petition reads as follows:- ''To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take necessary action against the fifth respondent to remove the encroachment made in Survey No.436/6 of Poothankudi Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by the fifth respondent.''

2. Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that on an application filed by the petitioner seeking removal of encroachments, a survey has been fixed on 14.11.2024. He would also state that the authorities will take appropriate action, if any encroachment is found after survey. Page No.2 of 4

3. In view of the said statement, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to seek re-opening of the Writ Petition, if no action is taken within a reasonable time. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
