O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to issue necessary Police Protection to the life and limp of the petitioner and his family members, on the basis of the complainant of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2022.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner purchased a land in survey No.38/13B3 from one Jeevanandham Naidu, who is the power agent of one Balakrishnan, Adhikesavan Naidu and Roopavathi and the same was registered as Document No.5927/2007 in Sub Registrar Office, Thanjavur. On July, 2021, the fourth respondent illegally entered into the petitioner's land and put up a temporary shed and hut. Now, they 2/6
are trying to construct a house over there. Thereby, the petitioner made a complaint to the third respondent and the third respondent issued CSR No.153/2022, dated 08.04.2022, thereafter, no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint to the first respondent on 22.07.2022 and subsequently, he gave a complaint to the respondents Police on 05.08.2022, thereafter also, no action has been taken by the respondents Police, hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents Police are directed to consider the complaint of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2022, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents Police would submit that enquiry was conducted and closed in CSR No.153 of 2022. Further, he has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents Police to consider the petitioner's complaint, dated 05.08.2022, if not already disposed of and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the fourth respondent.
