ORDER

The petitioner filed this Criminal Original Petition for a direction directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to his life and limb, as per the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.385 of 2012 dated 26.06.2018 by the Additional District Munsif Court, Srivilliputhur based on his representation, dated 02.12.2021.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that already the petitioner lodged a complaint to provide police protection and he was issued with C.S.R.No.135 of 2021. After due enquiry, it was closed on 21.06.2021. Thereafter, again the petitioner lodged another complaint and he was issued with C.S.R.No.330 of 2021 and the same was closed on 01.11.2021. In fact, already the petitioner approached this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.10567 of 2021 seeking for the very same relief and the same was dismissed by this Court on 04.08.2021. 3.In view of the above, it is seen that the petitioner repeatedly submitted similar request and the same was rejected on two occasions and this Court also dismissed the request made by the petitioner. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the civil Court in the manner known to law.
