ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2019 and thereby, directing the respondents to regularize the suspension period from 05.03.2015 to 27.10.2015 as duty period for all purposes such as, full pay and allowances, drawal of increments and as qualifying services, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, she was appointed as Cook on 22.01.1996 on compassionate ground. While she was working as Cook in Government Girls Hostel for schedule caste, at Thirupathur, Sivagangai, one C.Anipriya, D/o.Late Cinnappan, died on 04.03.2015 in the Hostel. Therefore, she was suspended from service on 05.03.2015. Thereafter, on 27.10.2015 the petitioner's suspension was revoked. W.P.(MD) No.23979 of 2019 27.08.2019 to regularize the suspension period as duty period and to provide monetary benefits. However, the same has not been considered, so far. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 4.Considering the nature of relief sought for in the Writ Petition, without deciding the case on merits, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.08.2019 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
