For Petitioner : Mr.S.Balaji For Respondents : Mr.M.Sarangan, Additional Government Pleader COMMON ORDER The petitioners, apprehending that the respondents are attempting to form a track in Survey Nos.665, 666/2 and 666/4B, Kuttathupatti Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul, have filed these writ petitions.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the lands in the above mentioned survey numbers are water channels and the 3/6

respondents are attempting to block the same by forming a road. Therefore, they have submitted a representation dated 25.01.2016. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petitions have been filed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on written instructions from the Thasildar, Dindigul, submits that the respondents are not having any idea to form any road on that water body.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, both the writ petitions are closed. It is needless to say that it is the duty of the officials to ensure that all water bodies are protected. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
