ORDER

This appeal is filed by the appellant / accused as against the conviction and sentence imposed on him by the learned Principal District Judge, Sessions Court (Fast Track Mahila Court), Ramanathapuram, in S.C.No.153 of 2008, dated 08.06.2017.

2.When the appeal is taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the appellant / accused died on 03.08.2017.

3.Since it is reported that the appellant / accused died pending the appeal, the charge as against him stands abated. Hence, this criminal appeal is closed.
