ORDER

(Order of the court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) The petitioner is the wife of a life convict (Natarajan, LCT No.1154). He is incarcerated in Central Prison, Palayamkottai. He is in prison since 2007. The petitioner seeks premature release for her husband. In this regard, representation dated 06.09.2024 has been submitted. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition came to be filed.

2.We direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and take a decision on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We have not gone into the merits of the matter. 2/4
