ORDER

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey his land, which is a part of Survey No.206/2, as per 1/4

the registered Sale Deed No.2342/2022, based on his representation, dated 17.10.2022.

2.Heard Mr.J.Selvin Rajesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he had purchased the land measuring an extent of 10 cents in Punja S.No.206/2 at Chinna Kovilankulam Village from one B.Singadurai, vide registered sale deed, bearing Document No.2342/2022, dated 03.08.2022. In order to measure the said land, he approached the respondents and gave a representation dated 08.10.2022 along with requisite fee, but the same was not considered. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation to the first respondent on 17.10.2022. However, the same has not been considered so far. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's land would be surveyed and demarcated, on the basis of his representation, dated 17.10.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.Considering the aforesaid submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to survey the property in question and demarcate the boundaries, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.10.2022, after issuing notice to all the necessary parties concerned, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
