This Criminal Appeal has been filed by the complainant in a proceedings under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act as against the judgment of acquittal passed by the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai, in C.A.No.44 of 2014, dated 29.04.2016.

2.Today(17.02.2025), when this Criminal Appeal is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on either side submit that the accused died and therefore, nothing survives in this Criminal Appeal. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by either side counsel, this Criminal Appeal is closed since the charge as against the accused is abated.
