PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2016 and consequently to rectify the survey number, which is wrongly mentioned as old Survey no.15/3A instead of new Survey No.15/5A2A which was registered under Document Nos.1164/1998, 1043/1999, 1183/1999 of the petitioner's property which is situated at Chinnalapatti, Ambadurai village, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District. 1/4

This writ petition was filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2016 and to rectify certain survey numbers which was wrongly registered in the documents.

2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing on 03.10.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to list this matter on 04.10.2023. Thereafter, this writ petition was taken up for hearing on 05.10.2023 and on that day also, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, it was once again adjourned to 13.10.2023 under the caption for dismissal. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
