ORDER

The Writ Petition is directed against the impugned rejection order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.227/W1 L &O PS/MC/2024, dated 27.09.2024 and consequently, direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e.)Adal Padal on the eve at Sri Alagunatchiamman and Sri Ayyanar Temple at Vilachery, Thirunagar, Madurai Distict, which is to be held on 05.10.2024 from 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm based on the petitioner's representation in person on 27.09.2024.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that for the very same temple, this Court has already directed the respondent police to give permission to conduct Adal Padal and in pursuance of the same, they have given permission to conduct Adal Padal programme scheduled today (ie., 03.10.2024).

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
