This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to enquire the petitioner's petition, dated 24.07.2019, as per G.O(Ms).No.385, Revenue (Public) Department, dated 17.08.2004 and pass orders to issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner and his brothers Mr.Jeganathamoorthy and Kesavamoorthy as patta holders of land bearing Survey No.143/1 of Muthusamypuram Revenue Village of Vilathikulam Taluk.

2. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already enquiry has been conducted and report has also been sent by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar to the Revenue Divisional Officer and no final order yet to be passed. Further, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti in Na.Ka.A2/6606/2021, dated 10.06.2022, sent an enquiry notice to the petitioner herein to appear before him on 07.07.2022 at 3.00 p.m. and the same was also complied with by the petitioner herein and appeared before the RDO., and produced all the documents.

Considering the above said submissions, this Court directs the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti, the second respondent herein to pass appropriate orders, based on the report of the Tahsildar, after giving an opportunity of hearing, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
