JUDGMENT

This Criminal Appeal is directed against the Judgment of conviction passed in S.C.No. 136 of 2013, dated 28.12.2016, on the file of the II Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR), Thirunelveli.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent filed a memo along with the death certificate of the appellant / accused stating that the appellant / accused died on 06.01.2021. The said memo is recorded. The counsel for the appellant is present and filed a death certificate of the appellant.

3. In view of the same, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
