ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 8(C), 29(1),20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No. 155 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on receiving the secret information, the respondent police conducted inspection, while the petitioner and other accused have found in possession of 2.500 kilograms of ganja. Hence, the compliant. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any

offence as alleged by the prosecution and his name has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that totally 3 accused involved in this case and the petitioner herein is arrayed as A3. He would further submit it is a second anticipatory bail petition and the earlier petition filed by him was dismissed by this Court. He further contended that the petitioner is having two previous cases in similar nature and he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent and also considering the suppression of earlier petition filed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
