PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take necessary action on the petitioner complaint dated 14.07.2023 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. O RDER This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a Mandamus to the respondent police to take necessary action basing on the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 14.07.2023. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 14.07.2023 is registered as CSR.No.399 of 2023 and after full-fledged enquiry, a report from the Social Welfare Officer has been called for and it was received. Later, on realizing that the subject matter falls within the jurisdiction of Devakottai Police Station, the complaint has been transferred to the said police station.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), since the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 14.07.2023 in CSR.No.399 of 2023 has already been transferred to the Devakottai Police Station, this Petition is disposed of for the time being giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the said police station and in case if no action is taken by the police, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court again. 2/4
