JUDGMENT

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the sole appellant in this case died, due to committing suicide. Based on which, a case in Crime No.67 of 2020 has been registered by the Inspector of Police, Austinpatti Police Station, under Section 174 of Cr.P.C., and enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed as "Further Action Dropped". The respondent Police has also produced a copy of the FIR in Crime No.67 of 2020 along with the certificate issued by the Village Administrative Officer, Thanakankulam, Thirupparankundram Taluk.

2. In view of the same, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated. 02.07.2025 Index : Yes/No NCC : Yes/No.
