ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The marriage between Shri.V.Meenakshisundaram and Ms.T.Athisakthigravya was solemnized as per Hindu rites and customs on 09.09.2021 at K.M.P Thirumana Mahal, Sannathi Street,, Thirumohur, Madurai. A male child Athi Gayan Krishna was born through the wedlock on 11.06.2022. The relationship between the parties came under strain. Athisakthigravya filed DVOP No.3 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Melur. She also filed HMOP No.100 of 2024 on the file of the Family Court, Madurai seeking dissolution of her marriage. To quash the proceedings in DVOP No.3 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, 3/8

Melur, the respondents in the complaint filed the aforesaid civil revision petitions. When the matter was listed before me on 15.10.2024, I referred the matter for mediation. Before the mediation centre annexed to this bench, the matter was amicably settled. The parties have signed the settlement agreement dated 21.10.2024. The settlement agreement dated 21.10.2024 shall form part of this order. Mr.V.Meenakshisundaram and Ms.Athisakthigravya appeared in person before me also and confirmed the settlement arrived at before the mediation centre. 3.In exercise of jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the civil revision petitions are disposed of in terms of the settlement agreement dated 21.10.2024 in the following terms : a) The marriage solemnized between the parties on 09.09.2021 at K.M.P Thirumana Mahal, Sannathi Street,, Thirumohur, Madurai stand dissolved.

b) Thiru.Meenakshisundaram in terms of the agreement to pay a sum of Rs.38.00 lakhs towards full and final settlement of all the claims of Athisakthigravya as well as the minor son. He paid a sum of Rs.10.00 lakhs by way of Demand Draft bearing No.540099 drawn on Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Madurai on 23.10.2024. Ms.Athisakthigravya acknowledges the receipt of the aforesaid Demand Draft before me. 4/8

c) Thiru.Meenakshisundaram is directed to pay a further sum of Rs.10.00 lakhs to Athisakthigravya on or before 25.11.2024. Demand Draft for the said sum shall be drawn in favour of Ms.Athisakthigravya and hand over the same to her counsel.

d) The third installment of Rs.8.00 lakhs shall be paid to Ms.Athisakthigravya on or before 31.12.2024. Demand Draft for the said sum shall be drawn in favour of Ms.Athisakthigravya and hand over the same to her counsel.

e) Fixed Deposit for a sum of Rs.10.00 lakhs will be made in the name of the minor son Shri Athi Gayan Krishna in any nationalised bank. Ms.Athisakthigravya shall be shown as guardian/nominee. The original fixed deposit receipt shall be handed over to her counsel in the first week of January, 2025.

f) Thiru.Meenakshisundaram has taken three single premium insurance policies in the name of the minor child Athi Gayan Krishna. The original policies (3 in number) have been handed over to Ms.Athisakthigravya. Thiru.Meenakshisundaram will take steps for entering the name of Ms.Athisakthigravya as the guardian/nominee for the insured.

g) Thiru.Meenakshisundaram has also taken Jeevan Tarun policy scheme in favour of the child. He undertakes to hand over the original 5/8

policy to the respondent and to take steps to include the name of the mother as guardian/nominee.

h) It is stated that HMOP No.100 of 2024 on the file of the Family Court, Madurai is posted for hearing on 22.12.2024. The learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai is directed to terminate the proceedings in terms of this order.

i) Since all the outstanding issues between the parties have been resolved, DVOP No.3 of 2024 is also quashed in entirety. The parties shall abide by the terms of the settlement agreement dated 21.10.2024 executed before the mediation centre annexed to this bench. They have no further claims against each other.

4.In view of the amicable settlement of the issues, these civil revision petitions are disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
