Prayer : This Criminal Appeal is filed under Section 374 (2) of Cr.P.C., to call for the Records from the lower Court in C.C.No.11 of 2015 on the file of the Additional Sessions Judge/Special Court under Essential Commodities Act, Thanjavur District and set aside the judgment dated 30.11.2017 by acquitting the accused by allowing the appeal. JUDGMENT

The appellant filed this appeal to set aside the the judgment passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge/Special Court under Essential Commodities Act, Thanjavur District, in C.C.No.11 of 2015 dated 30.11.2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit that the appellant namely, Veerapandiyan died and as such, there is no purpose in proceeding with the appeal. He has also produced the Death Certificate and the same is recorded.
