: Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent vide his proceedings in Ref.No.Nil, dated 03.05.2016 and to quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to grant permission to perform the Aadal Paadal programme on 26.05.2016 in between 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m., at Arulmighu Sri Siddhi Vinayagar, Sri Kaliyamman, Sri Mariamman and Sri Muniappan Temples situates at Ni. This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the impugned order passed by the second respondent vide his proceedings in Ref.No.Nil, dated 03.05.2016 and consequently direct the second respondent to grant permission to perform the Aadal Paadal programme on 26.05.2016 in between 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m., at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.9186 of 2016 Arulmighu Sri Siddhi Vinayagar, Sri Kaliyamman, Sri Mariamman and Sri Muniappan Temples situates at Ni. Panjampatti, Chinnalapatti, Dindigul District.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that the petitioner seeks permission to conduct the Adal Padal program on 26.05.2016 in between 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m. Now time sought for by the petitioner has been lapsed and as such the entire prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
