ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondent to process the petitioner's application and to disburse the benefits under Dr.Ambedkar Scheme for Social Integration through InterCaste Marriages within the time stipulated by this Court on Petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate for the 1st respondent and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent.

3. The petitioner preferred a representation dated 08.03.2021 to the first respondent for disbursing the benefits under Dr.Ambedkar Scheme for Social Integration through Inter-Caste Marriages. However, the said application is pending so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the representation would be disposed of within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the said submission, without going into the merits or the contentions of the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to make recommendation to the 2nd respondent by disposing the representation of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 2nd respondent, on receipt of the recommendation made by the first respondent, shall pass appropriate orders for disbursement of the benefits considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2021 and also the said recommendation, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
