ORDER

This Criminal Appeal has been filed against the judgment passed in C.C.No.27 of 2010, dated 23.02.2017, by the II Additional Special District and Sessions Court for Exclusive Trial of N.D.P.S.Act cases, Madurai.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, on instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the appellant passed away on 14.11.2018 i.e., after this Criminal Appeal was instituted and he has also produced the death certificate to that effect. As such, this petition cannot be prosecuted any further at this juncture.

3. By taking note of the same, this Criminal Appeal stands dismissed as abated.
