Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to give effect to its notification dated 9.3.2017 under proceeding No.A7/0050/2017 relating to changing the Door Number of the adjacent property of the Petitioner from 26 to 25A/1, 25A/2 25A/3 and 25A/4.

ORDER

Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.The respondents have decided to cancel the Door Number given parallel to Door No.26 and decided to give Door Nos.25A/1, 25A/2 25A/3 and 25A/4 series. They have also uploaded the same in the computer as well as in the demand register. Even though notice was issued by the second respondent in proceedings No.A7/0050/2017, dated 09.03.2017, it was not implemented and proper assessment has not been made in favour of the petitioner. Aggrieved over the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner is before this Court.

W.P(MD)No.23698 of 2019 3.It is no doubt that the respondent Corporation has taken a decision to provide Door Nos.25A/1, 25A/2 25A/3 and 25A/4 series. But, they have not implemented it so far.

4.Considering the factual circumstances, a direction is given to the respondent Corporation to implement the information given by them in proceedings No.A7/0050/2017, dated 09.03.2017, as expeditiously as possible. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
