This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for the procession on 21.09.2023 to dilute Shree Vinayagar Idols at Umayakoil Cholavarm Oorani, Sakkottai by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2023. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner reported that the idol of Shree Vinayagar was already immersed with the help of the respondent Police. 3.In view of the above, since the purpose, for which the petitioner has filed this petition, has become infructuous, this Writ Petition is closed. 26.09.2023 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Yuva To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai District, Sivagangai.
