When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has made an endorsement to that effect also.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents however vehemently opposed for withdrawal of this writ petition by contending that the order was earlier pronounced in the open Court.

However, it is to be noted that even though the order was pronounced in the open Court, by the time the order could be signed and the learned counsel for the petitioner had made a mention yesterday (06.11.2024) at 10.30 am., seeking to withdraw this writ petition and this Court had directed the matter to be listed today, 07.11.2024 under the caption 'for being mentioned'.
