ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned order, wherein the respondents have imposed the punishment of stoppage of increment for 6 months without cumulative effect. The charge against the petitioner is that he has unauthorizedly absented himself without giving prior notice to the respondents. The petitioner was 54 years old at the time of filing of this Writ Petition. Now, he has attained superannuation and he was allowed to retire and all the terminal benefits that are applicable to the petitioner are paid through order dated 05.07.2021.
2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not present before this Court and the petitioner is also not present in person. Therefore, this Court after perusing the records is of 2/4
the considered opinion that since it is a minor punishment, the punishment is confirmed, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the punishment.
3. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
