PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned transfer order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in nr.K.M.vz;. 11977/gp4/2014, dated 31.12.2015 (served to the petitioner on 04.10.2016) and quash the same as illegal.

The writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned transfer order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in nr.K.M.vz;.11977/gp4/2014, dated 31.12.2015 (served to the petitioner on 04.01.2016).

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner retired from service after attaining the superannuation on 31.10.2016. Therefore, the present writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
