This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to make an appropriate corrections in the revenue records/FMB sketch in respect of the petitioner's property in S.No.112/3B at Keela Thiruchendur Village, Thoothukudi District, as per his registered sale deed in D.No.662/2021, dated 26.02.2022, on the file of the Thiruchendur Sub Registrar Office, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 03.08.2021.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he has made a representation dated 03.08.2021, along with necessary documents to the first respondent to make appropriate corrections in the revenue records and the same was forwarded to the second respondent on 03.09.2021. Even thereafter, more 2/5
than nine months the respondents have not taken any steps. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered within a period of sixteen weeks.
4. Considering the above said submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing necessary opportunities, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
