PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.7 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused , who was arrested on 24.11.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 408,409,420, 465,468,471,477(A) of IPC in Crime No.7 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The petitioner herein is the Secretary incharge of the Ramanathapuram District Revenue Department Co-operative Society. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner said to have collected a sum of Rs. 33,08,362/- from 11 members of the society and failed to repay the same. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. CRL OP(MD). No.20957 of 2021 submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 24.11.2021, hence he seeks bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent opposed the bail petition on the ground that the investigation is still pending. He would further submit that the petitioner has caused huge loss to the society to the sum of Rs. 33,08,362/-

5. Taking note of the fact and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the investigation is still pending and also the fact that the amount involved in very huge, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
