Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from acquiring the petitioner's dwelling house and its connected properties in Survey No.93/2A, situated at Modhakam Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District, without following the due process of law and without fixing fair compensation procedure contemplated under Right of Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2022, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

Today, when the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that an award has already been passed and that the petitioner has no grievance to agitate in the present Writ Petition.

2. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. However, this shall not preclude the petitioner from challenging the award in the manner known to law.
