Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Memo No.078022/825/G.31/G.312/2021-1, dated 15.12.2021 on the file of the first respondent and the consequential impugned order in Memo No.014282/1196/Adm.1/A1/2021, dated 17.12.2021 on the file of the third respondent and the consequential impugned order in Ku.Aa.No.92-2/MeyPo/ MaMiPaVa/PeyNa/Mathu/NiA/NiPi.1/U.1/ Koo. P.Vi/ 2021, dated 23.12.2021 on the file of the fourth respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction, 1/3

directing the first respondent to retain the petitioner within the Madurai Electricity Distribution Circle, Madurai within the time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The writ petitioner is working in the post of the Administrative Officer, Madurai Electricity Distribution Circle, Madurai-Metro under the respondents. It is claimed that the petitioner's presence in his house is very much required. Any individual who takes up a public office should realise that the primary place where he should be make himself available is his office and not his house. Therefore, the reasons given by the petitioner regarding his domestic issues are straight away rejected by this Court.

2. The learned Counsel claims that the petitioner has made an online application that he should be transferred within Madurai Circle but he has been transferred to Erode.

3. The writ petition has been filed since he has also been relieved from his place of work and also questioning the transfer to 4.The writ petition is prima facie not maintainable. The petitioner will have to join the place where he has been transferred to and thereafter, he can place a request for reconsideration of the transfer order. Even before joining the office at Erode, the petitioner cannot seek the indulgence of this Court to interfere with an administrative order issued under various contingencies and exigencies by a public authority.
