PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorari, to call for the entire records in connection with the impugned order in Proc.R.No.20352/VA2/2015 dated 27.09.2024 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal. ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Superintendent working in the Regional Transport Office, challenging his order of suspension dated 27.09.2024.

2. It is the contention of the writ petitioner that he was issued with a charge memo on 29.01.2018 and he submitted his explanation on 26.02.2018. The enquiry was completed on 05.09.2018 and so far final orders have not been passed by the concerned authorities. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. On instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader submits that the second show cause notice has been issued to the writ petitioner on 19.10.2024. The petitioner has appeared in person on 23.10.2024 and sought further time to submit his explanation.

4. On instruction, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted his explanation to the second show cause notice by way of registered post on 25.10.2024.

5. In view of the above said facts, this Court is directs the first respondent herein to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of explanation from the writ petitioner.
